Instructions
Boil the milk along with the sugar and semolina, stirring the mixture constantly until it thickens. Then remove the pot from heat and add the butter, the slightly beaten eggs, and vanilla or lemon zest. Mix well and pour the mixture into a large greased and floured baking pan. Bake in a moderate oven until it turns golden brown and a knife inserted near center comes out clean.
