The makina is a piece of equipment used to clean, sift and winnow raisins. The makina consists of a wooden structure and the following parts: the upper outer part, which looks like a tub and has a gap at the bottom so that the raisins can fall into the sieves, the inner part that has three sieves in different sizes and the back inner part, where there is a mechanism with an impeller that rotates through the move of a handle. The makina is very heavy so that it can be steady during operation.
